HSV Radiologi is a Swedish company with long and broad experience in dental radiology and medical X-ray diagnostics from both large hospitals and smaller clinics.

With our complete solution, you will have the support of a reliable partner. We will ensure the smooth and correct handling of all the necessary permits, quality controls, inspections, staff training, contacts with authorities that may be required to conduct medical X-ray diagnostics, dental radiology and similar operations. We can also assist with the procurement of or help with adaptations of X-ray equipment.

About me

HSV Radiologi

is owned and operated by Hector Silva Vidal. I have dual competencies as a licensed medical physicist and radiation protection physicist (radiophysicist). I hold a degree from the University of Gothenburg. I am a service-minded person and the patient’s best interests are always at the heart of my work.

I have worked as a medical physicist in medical X-ray diagnostics for over 20 years. During 15 of these years, I have also worked in Dental radiology, which means that I have closely followed the technical development of X-ray equipment, including panoramic X-ray and CBCT.

My tasks have consisted of carrying out quality controls of X-ray equipment, dose measurements on patients and staff, participating in procurement and inspections as well as radiation protection training of staff in different professional groups. I have also devoted myself to running clinical project work in digital X-ray diagnostics in collaboration with radiologists or odontological radiologists. Furthermore, I have experience in the adoption of software used for different types of X-ray examinations.

My work also involves liaising with the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM) and I am well acquainted with the authority’s activities and requirements.
As a medical physicist, I have an extensive network and close collaboration with, among others, radiologists, dentists, medical technicians and several other professional categories around the country.

HSV Radiologi has a good collaboration with a number of radiologists in medical X-ray diagnostics and dental radiology, medical physicists and suppliers of X-ray equipment.

If you are planning to conduct activities with CBCT and need to find radiologists in dental radiology, I can make appropriate recommendations. This service is often of great value to clients as a way to facilitate the whole process.

Services

Are you in the process of acquiring CBCT or other X-ray equipment, or do you already have such equipment installed? Then I can help you with all or part of the application of the necessary permits to conduct X-ray operations with the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority.

HSV radiology offers a complete solution that – in addition to the services below – means that you get access to a medical physicist or radiation protection expert on a consultancy basis, thereby ensuring access to the expertise necessary to meet the authorities’ requirements.

Among other things, we offer the following services:

• Assistance with permit applications to conduct activities in dental radiology or medical X-ray diagnostics
